I am quite aware, I believe I was attempting a very bad joke. =\ I've known Sommeh for a while now, although most people could probably guess he would be the only one named InternetHateMachine.

It's also Korean (which makes it shit) and really easy to beat (shittier). WoW is the way to go.

I still don't see the difficulty in WoW (not that aion is getting anymore difficult with it's bonus xp weekends crap) if everyone and their dog has pretty much reached end-game 4-5 times each, (more like twice or more, but still).

Games are about fun, not difficulty :O
I doubt you guys will get anywhere trying to judge which game is better by difficulty.

But if you reach endgame quickly, there's no game to enjoy.

your argument is that it's about fun, not difficulty, yet you would rather play a game where the only major way to level is to sit in a corner and let a bot do it for you? Whoo. So exileratingXuku wrote:Silkroad ftw?

I'm not trying to turn this into an argument, BaBa
I do not currently play Silkroad, I was giving an (extreme) example of how too much difficulty no longer makes it fun.
Sommeh, I quit that game long ago once the competitive league became infested with noobs and hackers.

There really isnt any "end-game" for WoW though. There is always new things comming out. There is how ever end-game content. The raiding (big instances for teh nubz0rz) is hard. After you beat it once you do it again but in a different way or in a quicker time for achievements. Then every once in a while you get a patch for new content.
There in every year or so you get a whole new expansion pack. Dont know bout Aion but... WoW seems better.

No offense, but of course you would think WoW is better since you choose to play it over others and you "don't know about Aion".
And Sommeh, I know it is, but there are just too many hackers... I'm like "WTHECKHAX" when their paddle shoots all the way across the screen to block my perfect shot... :/

When you reach the level-cap, that is end-game, no matter what, unless the level-cap is raised, it will be considered end-game, from that point on, all you can do is raid and pvp, there's no more adventure, excluding raids.
re-rolling would give you more adventure, yes.
But the whole arguement is about being able to re-roll 10 times and reach end-game every single time with ease.
(the above isn't only for WoW, but Aion as well.)
I'm not trying to get into some star-trek vs star wars vs star gate type of fight (star gate is the best) with you mystyk, I know we aren't really arguing either.
the reason i keep pushing the difficulty subject is because i hear people say WoW is "difficult" in many aspects, and then i look at their xfire profile and they have at least 3 toons that have reached end-game and their WoW hours recorded are around 200-300, but that may just be because they like to turn their private on.
But anyway, my question is to you, Is world of warcraft that difficult? Aion is so-so, and i'm pretty displeased with the double xp weekends. So, yeah.

Re: Aion Best MMO of 2009
Well I would have to say the depending on the style of the MMO, end of leveling may not be end game, depending on what the focus is. I mean, look at Guild Wars, you can get to level 20 in like 20-30 hours, but the game really doesn't even start until level 20. There's still the whole world to explore. But in a game like WoW, from what I've heard, at the max level cap (which takes a very long time and is presumably the main "adventure" of the game) there is no more exploring to be had, aside from raids. So, it ultimately depends on the style and focus of the game.

I can't believe in the whole "WoW takes a long time to level" thing when everyone and their yeast infection have reached end-game more than a few times.

I've never played it that's just what I've heard Which, as you have said, is probably not true. Although it might really take a long time to level, but all the people who play it are highly addicted jobless live at home lifeless types who play all day every day and get to the end fast
